The main objectives of the FI-MEDIA projects are the scoping, selectiion of mutually beneficial topics in Future Internet and Electronic Media (FI-MEDIA) for EU-India Clustering and setting up of Research & Innovation (R&I) Clusters comprising of the R & I and Industry/entrepreneur communities.
The project members have published a report describing the process followed, and successes to date, in the scoping, recruitment and establishment of potential ICT Clusters in India and EU related to the areas of convergence between Future Internet and Digital Media (FI-MEDIA).
The report also announces the dates for two upcoming Cluster to Cluster (C2C) partnership workshops being held at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Delhi):
1. 17-18th December, 2015: C2C partnership workshop dedicated to Smart Villages Ecosystems;
2. 22-23rd January, 2016: C2C partnership workshop dedicated to Bringing the EU's FIWARE program to India
, being held in conjunction with the International Conference on Smart Cities
, dedicated to Bringing the EU's FIWARE program to India.
